 1.       Courts
 
Courts are open but appearances remain virtual and booking matters remains difficult. As such matters continue to be delayed. We have no control over the length of the delay, but we continue to monitor the situation .

2.       Meetings
 
We continue to host meetings by video conference through Zoom or phone.  If you intend to visit our office we still require that you mask at the current time.

Signing of Wills and Powers of Attorney - By legislation passed on April 19, 2021 The Ontario Government has made permanent changes to the Succession Law Reform Act to allow for remote signing of Wills and Powers of Attorney.  Wills may also now be signed in counterpart through a video conference. We are also available to allow for in person signings utilizing the masking precaution set out above. Please contact us should you wish to have your will prepared and signed at this time.

Signing of Real Estate and Other Documents - For other documents, where possible we will send documents for electronic signing for now, but will only allow signing after we have provided you with proper legal advice

3.         Office Hours
 
Our office remains open between 9 - 5 Monday to Friday. Closed weekends and Statutory Holidays.
